Back in CO, bitches
It looks like Don Imus is going to work again. What he said was stupid, but at the same time, there are people saying much worse things who manage to get work (or at the very least, tv spots to promote the most recent inadequately researched book with a terribly clever title suggesting that liberals are destroying America). So I can’t get too outraged about this, honestly.
Rove is gone, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s a criminal, who serously overestimated his standing in 2006. His seems to be the name that pops up whenever there is any scandal, and let’s hope it’s more than just empty rhetoric to see the democrats pledging to have Rove’s testimony. It was fun to see him grossly overestimate his political standing in 2006 though, wasn’t it?
Pelosi needs to step up, if she ever wants to be remembered for anything other than empty promises. Here’s an interesting editorial on the subject.
It doesn’t get much more fun than watching Jon Stewart interview someone he disagrees with. His interviews can get a little dull when they are with people he likes or respects, but it’s always fun to see him spar verbally.
This is interesting.
Why aren’t more people pissed off?
Reactions to Rove being gone here and here.
Another Daily Show clip.
Ending with happy news, the Half Hour News Hour has been canceled. It was a horrible idea anyway, but I suppose it had that train wreck quality to it.
