I’m not much for titles, lately
Here’s a funny Daily Show clip to start with.
Edwards is putting all of his effort into the earliest primaries. The theory is that if he can win those, there will be a snowball effect similar to the one that saw Kerry build off of his Iowa victory that no one (read: Howard Dean) saw coming. I’m hopeful that this strategy pays off, but I’m not so sure it will. I suppose that it’s possible that by the time February rolls around, Edwards is either going to be the front runner or he’ll have dropped out already. We’ll see what happens.
Here’s an interesting article about the “irresponsible” bill that Bush intends to veto. If there’s one guy I go to for my fiscal responsibility advice, it’s the guy who consistently cuts taxes at a time where he’s trying to fund a war, and pisses away the surplus. But I digress.
Here’s an editorial.
A fairly lengthy look at Guliani’s campaign can be seen here.
Three cheers for empty rhetoric!
Fred Thompson proves that his stupidity is staggering. I’d comment further, but nothing I could say would drive the point home as well as seeing what this mental midget actually said.
This is disconcerting.
Some Bill Maher for you.
This went under the radar.
I kind of want to spend some time bitching about Iowa’s overly powerful role in the selection of a presidential nominee, I’ll leave that for another time, because I also want to sleep.
Go cubs.
